Terms of Use

1. Parties and acceptance

These terms govern your use of the Wake Friends app provided by Emre Şahin. By using the app you accept these terms and the Privacy Policy. For the app downloaded from the App Store, Apple's Standard License Agreement also applies.

2. The service and the limits of an alarm

Wake Friends offers alarms, wake-up missions, Mystery sounds, voice wake-ups from friends (Secret Wake), wake-up groups and World Wake. We do everything we can to make the alarm reliable, but whether it rings also depends on your phone being on and charged, operating system settings, permissions and the device maker's battery management. The Alarm Health screen shows possible problems.

Wake Friends must not be used as the only reminder for medication, medical treatment, safety, or anything where missing it could cause serious harm.

3. Age and account

You must be at least 13 to create an account; if you are a minor where you live, use it with your parent's or guardian's permission. You are responsible for your account's security and for what is done with it. Usernames that impersonate others or mislead are not allowed.

4. Community rules

Wake Friends has zero tolerance for objectionable content and abusive users. Voice wake-ups, usernames and group names must not contain: harassment, bullying or threats; hate speech or discrimination; sexual content; content encouraging violence or self-harm; illegal activity; other people's personal information; spam or advertising; impersonation.

If you come across disturbing content or a person, use "Report" and "Block" in the app. We review reports, remove content that breaks the rules, and may suspend or close accounts that break them without notice. You can limit who can wake you in Settings.

5. Your content

The audio you record and the names you write belong to you. You grant us a free, non-transferable permission, limited to the periods in the privacy policy, to use this content to provide the service (storing it, delivering it to the person you choose, safety review). Don't record other people's voices or content you have no right to without permission.

6. Premium and subscriptions

Wake Friends is free. Premium unlocks unlimited wake-up groups and Premium Mystery sound packs and is available as a monthly or yearly subscription. Prices are shown in the store. Payment is charged to your Apple Account or Google Play account. The subscription renews automatically for the same period unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. You can manage and cancel it in your App Store account settings or under Subscriptions in Google Play; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current period. Refunds are subject to Apple's and Google's rules.

7. Intellectual property

The app, its design, images, characters and Mystery sounds belong to Emre Şahin or his licensors. You may use the app only for personal, non-commercial purposes in line with these terms; copying, reverse engineering or abusing the service is prohibited.

8. Changes, suspension and termination

We may improve, change or remove features of the service. You can delete your account in the app at any time. If you break these terms we may suspend or close your account. If we change these terms we update the date and announce significant changes separately.

9. Limitation of liability

The app is provided "as is". To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for missed alarms, being late or indirect damages. This limitation does not affect your statutory rights as a consumer or liability for intent or gross negligence.

10. Governing law and contact

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Türkiye; the mandatory rules where you live as a consumer and your right to go to consumer arbitration committees or courts remain unaffected. Questions: mre.sahinn@gmail.com.
